1. What do you know about Flash?
Answer: Flash is a powerful animation software package developed by Adobe Systems (formerly Macromedia). Flash provides a versatile and easy way to create animation that consists of images, sounds and video with various effects.
2. Differentiate between Frame and Keyframe.
Answer: Frames in Flash can be defined as the little rectangular cells that appear on the timeline. Each frame has a number whereas Keyframes are special type of frames where we define some change to objects properties for an animation like the position, color, shape etc.
3. What does Property inspector display?
Answer: The Property inspector is a panel that displays the properties of the selected object (text, symbol, an image, a line or a shape). The list of properties also vary in the Property inspector.
4. Describe the term Gradient.
Answer: Gradient means filling color in an object light to dark that basically gives shade to an object or a color formed by mixing of 2 or more colors in an object.
5. How will you rotate an object?
Answer: We can rotate an object by following these steps:
• Select the object.
• Select Modify > Transform > Rotate and Skew
• Click on the corner handle of the object, the pointer changes to rotation handle.
6. How will you import graphics from another file?
Answer: We can import graphics from another file by following these steps:
• Select the file > Import > Import to stage
• You will get Import dialogue box.
• Browse the filename to import. Select the file name and then click on open.
• The picture will placed on the stage.
7. Briefly explain the term Animation.
Answer: Animation involves the series of still images, usually painted or sketched, displayed in rapid sequence. Then only it appears to show some movement. Animations in Flash is created by changing the contents of successive form.
8. What do you understand by Tint Tweening?
Answer: Tint Tweening is used to change the color of an object. Tint effect work only on symbols and can't be added to the object that are drawn directly on the canvas of the movie.
