Noun Phrase
• A group of words that does the function of a noun in a sentence is called a Noun Phrase.• Noun Phrase is a group of words with noun or pronoun as its head.
• The noun head can be accompanied by +modifier +determiner +complement.
• Noun phrase functions as a subject, object, complement, or as object of preposition.
• Noun phrase is always subject or object of a verb.
• Phrase may contain infinitives and non-finite verbs.
