2. Differentiate between the Foreground Color and the Background Color.
Answer: Foreground Color is used to paint, fill and for stroke selections. Background Color is used to make Gradient fills and fill colour in the erased areas of the image. By default foreground color is black and background color is white.
3. What is the use of Hue/Saturation dialog box?
Answer: Hue/Saturation dialog box is used to adjust the hue (colours in the image) and the saturation (the intensity of the colours), and also gives you control over the lightness.
4. What is the use of Type Tool? How will you insert text in an image?
Answer: Type Tool is used to add text in an image. To insert text in an image:
• Click on the Type Tool.
• Select a Font, Size, Colour, Bold, Underline, Italics options from the Context Menu.
• Click on the image where you wish to add text.
• Type the desired text.
• Click on checkmark button on the Context menu to end text editing.
5. Explain Warping of Text.
Answer: Warping of Text is used to position the letters or text in different shapes. Warping text allows us to bend the text and to change the orientation of the text horizontally and vertically.
6. What do you understand by layers?
Answer: Layers are the transparent sheet that can hold objects and are stacked on top of each other. We can draw and edit objects on one layer without affecting the objects on another layer.
